Terms of service

Welcome, Dear Heart

Before we begin, a few kind agreements between us. By using our websites, buying our products, or downloading our digital files, you're agreeing to these Terms of Use. We've kept them as plain as we can.

Who we are. Heart to Hands Movement, LLC ("we," "us," "our") is an Illinois limited liability company. Our home is. You can always reach us at connect@hearttohandsmovement.com.

Who you are. Anyone visiting our websites or buying our products. We affectionately call you "Dear Heart" — and in these Terms, we'll just say "you."

What You Can Do With What You Buy

When you buy a digital product from us — like the Prayer to the Heart™ audio prayer, a downloadable PDF, or a workbook — you receive a personal license to use it. You may:

  • Listen, read, view, or use the file for your personal enjoyment
  • Share it with members of your household
  • Give a single copy as a gift to one specific person (preferably through our gift flow at checkout, but we won't be sticklers if you forward a download link to a friend)
  • Quote short excerpts (15 seconds or fewer of audio, two lines or fewer of text) on social media, with attribution like "from Prayer to the Heart by Kathleen Frantz"

What You Cannot Do

Some things would hurt the movement, and we ask you not to do them:

  • Don't sell, resell, or redistribute the audio or written content. The work is for hearts, not for resale.
  • Don't claim it as your own. Prayer to the Heart was written by Kathleen Frantz and is protected by copyright. Please don't put your name on it.
  • Don't post the full audio or full prayer text publicly on YouTube, Spotify, podcast platforms, your website, or any other public space. (Short quotes — yes. The whole thing — please no.)
  • Don't use the work commercially — in your business, your courses, your branded materials — without written permission from us. (We're often happy to give permission. Just ask.)
  • Don't translate or adapt the work without permission. (We have a Phase 2 plan for languages and we'd love to do this with you, not have it done apart from us.)
  • Don't use the work to train AI models — yours or anyone else's. The prayer is human work for human hearts.

When You Use Our Website

Our websites (hearttohandsmovement.com and any subdomain) belong to us. The text, design, audio, video, and code are protected. You may browse, listen, and share freely as described above — but please don't scrape, mirror, or republish the site itself.

If you want to link to us, we love that. Please use the actual URL rather than embedding our content on your own site as if it were yours.

Copyright & DMCA

For copyright concerns and takedown requests, please see our Copyright & DMCA Policy. We're a registered DMCA service provider (Registration #DMCA-1073391).

When You Send Us Things

If you record yourself reading the prayer through our recording flow, your voice belongs to you. We have a separate Recording Flow Consent that explains exactly what we do with your recording (and what we don't). You'll see and agree to it before recording starts.

If you send us a testimonial, story, photo, or video — wonderful, thank you. We have a separate Shared Content License that explains how we'd like to use it (with attribution, with your permission, and never sold).

If you email us with feedback or ideas, please know that we may use general themes (like "people are asking for more breathing exercises") to shape the movement. We won't quote you directly without asking.

Payments, Refunds, and Things That Go Wrong

Payment is processed by Shopify (which uses Stripe and Shop Pay). We never see or store your full payment card number.

For full refund and return details, see our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

Things We Promise (and Things We Can't Promise)

We promise to:

  • Treat you with kindness
  • Send you what you bought, on time, and replace it if it breaks
  • Protect your information as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Tell you the truth about what we make and how we make it

We can't promise that:

  • Our content will produce specific results in your life — we offer beauty, joy, and reflection; what they unlock for you is yours
  • Our website will be available 100% of the time (the internet has weather, like the rest of life)
  • Our products are for everyone — they're for anyone whose heart wants to be opened, but you may not be in that season, and that is okay

We disclaim (legal speak for "we want to be clear about"):

  • We are not licensed therapists, doctors, or counselors. If you're going through something heavy, please reach out to a professional too. In the US, you can call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question.

If We Disagree

We hope this doesn't happen. If it does:

  • First, please email usconnect@hearttohandsmovement.com — and let's try to resolve it like humans
  • If we can't resolve it, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois (without regard to conflict-of-laws principles)
  • Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Cook County, Illinois — except for small-dollar disputes which can be heard in your local small-claims court

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the movement grows. When we do:

  • We'll update the "last revised" date at the bottom
  • For significant changes, we'll email subscribers and post a notice on the website
  • Your continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms; if you don't accept them, please stop using our products and we'll part as friends

Goodbye for Now

Thanks for reading. We don't take it for granted that you made it this far — most people don't read terms of use, and we wrote these hoping you would. If anything in here didn't make sense or feels off, please email us. We mean that.

With love,
Kathleen and the Heart to Hands Movement
