Copyright & DMCA Policy

A note from the heart — and the legal part too.

We care about creators. We also care about being honest about copyright — what's ours, what's yours, and what to do if something feels wrong. This page covers both.

Our Copyright

Everything you see on hearttohandsmovement.com and our related websites — the prayer, the audio recordings, the writing, the artwork, the photography, the videos, the design — is created by Kathleen Frantz and Heart to Hands Movement, or used here with permission from the rights holders. It's protected by U.S. and international copyright law.

You can read more about what you're welcome to do with what you buy in our Terms of Use.

One thing we want to be especially clear about: our content is not available for AI training. Not yours, not anyone's. The prayer is human work for human hearts.

If You Believe Your Copyright Has Been Infringed Here

If you're a creator who believes your copyrighted work appears on our website without permission — please tell us. We will look carefully and act quickly. We follow the procedures set out in the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the "DMCA").

To send us a takedown notice

Email your notice to our Designated Agent:

Kathleen Frantz
Designated Agent, Heart to Hands Movement
937 Clarence Ave
Oak Park, IL 60304
United States
Phone: (708) 522-9814
Email: kathleen@katysgoodness.com
DMCA Registration Number: DMCA-1073391

Your notice must include all of the following (this list is set by the DMCA — we have to ask for each piece):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on our site where the allegedly infringing material appears.
  4. Your contact information — full name, address, phone, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

We respond to complete DMCA notices promptly — typically within a few business days. We may remove or disable access to the material while we investigate. We may also share your notice with the person who posted the material so they can respond.

If Your Content Was Removed and You Believe It Shouldn't Have Been

If you receive a notice from us that your material has been removed in response to a DMCA notice, and you believe the removal was a mistake (for example: you actually own the rights, or the use is protected by fair use), you can send us a counter-notice.

Email your counter-notice to kathleen@katysgoodness.com. It must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your full name, address, and phone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where your address is located (or, if you live outside the United States, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original DMCA notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless they file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringers

We don't take this lightly, and we ask you not to either. If a user repeatedly uploads content that infringes others' copyrights — even after being warned — we will terminate their account and their ability to use our services. "Repeatedly" generally means more than one valid, uncontested infringement claim.

False Claims

Sending a knowingly false DMCA notice — or a knowingly false counter-notice — can make you legally liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. We ask you to be careful and honest, and we hold ourselves to the same standard.

Questions

If you're not sure whether you need to file a formal DMCA notice, or you just want to talk to a real person first, email Kathleen at kathleen@katysgoodness.com. We'd rather have a conversation than escalate into formal procedures whenever possible.
